About the Presentation

Join us for an unforgettable evening of connection, inspiration, and community. Speaking Through the STORM is a free, catered event featuring international keynote speaker Joe Roberts — the “Skid Row CEO” — whose remarkable story of transformation continues to inspire audiences around the world.

Be part of the conversation as local leaders, service providers, and people with lived experience come together to share insights on building a safer, healthier, and more resilient Maple Ridge. During our interactive panel discussion, you’ll have the opportunity to ask pressing questions and engage directly with those working on the frontlines of change.

Enjoy refreshments, explore art by local artist Taylor Jmaeff, and connect with community partners sharing resources and information about the supports available in our community.

Hosted by the Ridge Meadows Community Action Team (STORM), this event is about sparking hope, fostering understanding, and taking the next steps toward meaningful community action.
